It's Actually Happening!

We are moving overseas, it's actually happening! It's a bizarre and overwhelming task to consider the physical aspects of moving overseas. For the duration of our marriage we have had a great one bedroom apartment. We have intentionally tried to not accumulate things knowing that the day would come when we'd move overseas. Even so, it has taken almost two weeks to sort though and rid ourselves of the things we cannot take! In this process we have:

-Had a successful apartment sale (Thanks to the Lord and our friends and neighbors)!

-Given a good number of useful things to a Haitian couple who just arrived in the U.S.
-Made trips to salvation army, the Women's League Thrift House, and Half Price Books
-Moved-in with our great friends the Klinkners!

Recently we purchased airline tickets and we just moved in with great friends to continue our time of preparation before we fly! God has been so good to guide our every step. It's Actually Happening!

We won't be taking much but we found out that our friend's son Toby would fit nicely:

Hey, Jessica -- Just wanted to thank you again for your donations to the young Haitian couple. They gave birth to a healthy baby girl -- Praise God... You are off to a foreign land -- and they have just come to the one we call "home." I saw their faith in God -- and in His provision as all their needs have been supplied. I am certain that God has already gone before you both -- and is preparing a place for you too!
